I attended this birth more as a friend than as a photographer. This mama is especially important to me; I consider her one of my closest friends. She had been waiting for the arrival of Baby O for weeks, as labor had several times started and then stopped. Early on the morning of his birth, her water broke and then things moved pretty quickly after that. He was born in the bathtub and was quickly scooped up lovingly by his mama, who has more strength and determination in her than she lets on. It is a priviledge to know her and to have been there for O’s birth. He is such a loved little guy, I am hoping to cover him with Auntie Lora kisses soon!
