I got to be there when this little guy was born and mama made it look so easy peasy (I’m sure it wasn’t, but boy, did she rock it!). I loved being able to go back when he was a week old and love on him. I also loved spending time with his 3 brothers. There’s something about a houseful of 4 boys that sounds so fun to me!

Oooooh, I love this baby so much. At first, he was very shy and unsure of what was going on and then once I started playing with him, he found out how hilarious I am! Right after I took the last photo, he reached his sweet little arms out for me and let me carry him all the way back to his car. It was very tempting to take him home, but I’m pretty sure his parents would’ve been unhappy about that. I cant wait to see him again soon!
The B Family asked me to come to their lake home and take pictures of their entire extended family. They have this wonderful dock and we were lucky to time it just right to catch the amazing sunset. What a beautiful backdrop to capture this gorgeous and sweet family!
This mama and I talked a lot during her pregnancy about how she was likely to have a fast labor, since second babies can come fast and her first labor was pretty quick. When the time finally came, the weather was perfect. Mom opted to labor at home for a bit, so we went for a walk first and visited her neighborhood garden that she helps run while Dad took their older daughter to the playground nearby. After a bit, we realized it was time to head to the hospital. Big sister was so happy to tag along and she did a great job taking pictures with her own camera. I loved that she was there for the whole thing, even the delivery. She was one of the first to see her sister emerge and she loved every second. I really love this family, it was so awesome seeing them grow and add another member. And yes, the mom is gorgeous and after 4 hours of labor, she still looked amazing!
I love when clients are really flexible about location. I told these parents that I had found an abandoned lot with long grass and wild wisteria on the side of a busy road and would they be interested in shooting there. They didn’t even hesistate and the results were so much fun!
