This family drove a long way to come see me, so the pressure was on! I needn’t have worried, though, they were relaxed and happy and enjoyed their time together, which really comes through in pictures. The kids are so super sweet and we had a blast, enjoying the morning fog.
E’s Mom really wanted pictures of him toothless, as this is a big milestone in a kid’s life and doesn’t last too long! E was at total pro and acted like he was used to being photographed every day. Boy, could he turn on the charm! Six is such a fun age!
I was meant to be at this birth as only a doula and a friend, but couldn’t resist bringing my camera along and making sure E’s birth was documented. This mama has my heart and has been one of the best friends I have ever had for all of my adult life (I don’t want to tell you how many years, so we don’t start feeling all old and stuff!). This baby is a very lucky boy to be born to such a great mama (and dad!), however, he will *always* have an Auntie Lora to come hang out with (so will his big bro, the equally adorable B!). It was a blessing to witness his birth 🙂
It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since P came into the world with a bang! He was an accidental homebirth, born into the hands of yours truly! It was one of the best and scariest events of my life! Little P arrived just fine, happy and healthy and quickly snuggled in to meet his parents. Watching him grow up has been such an honor 🙂
